MDTA POLICE INVESTIGATING FATAL CRASH
ON I-395/I-95 INTERCHANGE IN BALTIMORE CITY

BALTIMORE, Md. (April 30, 2024) – The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Collison Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday afternoon in Baltimore City. On April 29, at 12:40 p.m., MDTA Police Officers assigned to the Central Command Detachment responded to the ramp from southbound I-395 to southbound I-95.
Responding officers determined a black Kawasaki motorcycle had been involved in a single-vehicle crash. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected from the motorcycle and fell to the water below the ramp. The Baltimore City Fire Department recovered the victim who was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
This is an open and ongoing investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the MDTA Police at 410-537-1209.
