WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF THE SOUTHBOUND I-95 RAMP TO KEITH AVENUE
HAZMAT Vehicles Must Use Exit 57 Before Tunnel
WHAT: The ramp from southbound I-95 to Keith Avenue (Exit 56) will be closed overnight. The detour will direct motorists to O'Donnell Street (Exit 57), to Interstate Avenue, to Boston Street, to Clinton Street, to Keith Avenue.
Note: HAZMAT vehicles last exit before the Fort McHenry Tunnel will be Exit 57 (O'Donnell Street).
WHEN: Weather permitting, the overnight ramp closures will occur Wednesday, Jan. 11, Thursday, Jan. 12, Sunday, Jan. 15, Monday Jan. 16 and Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work. Crews will close the ramp to pour foundations as part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) $13.7 million project to remove and replace weathering steel high-mast light poles along I-95 in Baltimore.
