WORK TO RESULT IN WEEKEND RIGHT LANE CLOSURE OF OUTER LOOP I-695 IN SOUTHEAST BALTIMORE
WHAT: The right lane on the Outer Loop of I-695 will be continuously closed from the Curtis Creek Drawbridge to the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
WHEN: Weather permitting, the right lane closure will occur this weekend from Friday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The lane closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) $5.5 million bridge deck overlay and repair project for the bridges carrying I-695 over Dock Road and CSX Railroad in Baltimore. Lane closures are expected to end in fall 2015, and the project is anticipated to be complete in fall 2016.
