WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT I-95

RAMP CLOSURES IN BALTIMORE CITY

 

 

WHAT:  The on-ramp from Washington Boulevard to southbound I-95 will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The southbound detour route will direct motorists to Caton Avenue, to southbound I-95.  The northbound detour route will direct motorists to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, to southbound I-395, to southbound I-95.

 

The ramp from northbound I-95 to O’Donnell Street (Exit 57) will be closed temporarily to traffic.  The detour route will direct  motorists to Eastern Avenue (Exit 59), to Kane Street, to southbound I-95, to O’Donnell Street (Exit 57).

 

WHEN: Weather permitting, the on-ramp from Washington Boulevard to southbound I-95 will be closed Thursday, July 26, and Friday, July 27, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

 

Weather permitting, the ramp from northbound I-95 to O’Donnell Street (Exit 57) will be closed Monday, July 30, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.  In the event of inclement weather or other variables, work also may be performed Aug. 1 or Aug. 2.

 

WHY:   Crews will be performing fence repairs to the Washington Boulevard on-ramp and bridge construction to the O’Donnell Street ramp.
