WEEKEND CLOSURE OF RAMP FROM

SOUTHBOUND I-95 TO MD 295 IN BALTIMORE CITY

WHAT: The ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The far right exit lane on southbound I-95 leading to Exit 52 will also be closed. The detour route will direct motorists to I-695 (Exit 49A), to southbound MD 295 (Exit 7A).

WHEN: Weather permitting, the ramp closure will be in effect Friday, April 15, at 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, April 18.

WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The closure is part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.  The current work on the MD 295 ramp involves replacing the roadway joints.
