PUBLIC OPEN HOUSES THIS WEEK:

I-95 ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS STUDY FOR

BALTIMORE’S PORT COVINGTON AREA

WHAT: The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) and the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (Baltimore City DOT) are holding two public open houses this week. 

Join us to learn more about the I-95 Access Improvements Study, to provide input and to review alternative options for infrastructure improvements.

WHEN:          Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m.

                        Dr. Carter G. Woodson Elementary/Middle School

                        2501 Seabury Road

                        Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, from 10 a.m. to Noon

                        National Federation of the Blind

                        200 East Wells Street

                        Baltimore, MD 21230

WHY: The MDTA and the Baltimore City DOT are studying proposed transportation improvements to support existing and planned development in the Port Covington area.  The improvements being studied are meant to ensure that the I-95 corridor and major local roads, including Hanover Street, McComas Street and Key Highway, will continue to connect people to where they live, work and play in an efficient manner.
