OFF-PEAK LANE CLOSURES ON I-395

LEAVING BALTIMORE CITY APRIL 5 - 6

WHAT: One lane on southbound I-395 leaving Baltimore City will be closed temporarily to traffic. Drivers will still have access to northbound AND southbound I-95 from I-395.

WHEN: Weather permitting, the lane closures will be in effect Tuesday, April 5, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning and Wednesday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City. The current work on I-395 involves replacing the roadway joints.
