MDTA POLICE TO HOST SPECIAL RECRUITMENT EVENT FOR CADETS AND WOMEN
"Join the Ranks"
BALTIMORE, MD - The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police will host a Special Career Night for young men and women interested in becoming an MDTA Police Cadet and for women interested in a career as an MDTA Police Officer:

The event will include a presentation providing information regarding a career as either an MDTA Police Cadet or as an MDTA Police Officer. MDTA Police Cadets are young men and women (ages 18-20) who are interested in a career in law enforcement but are not old enough to become police officers. MDTA Police Officers must be age 21 by the time of graduation from the training academy.
Following a presentation, a written test will be offered for those who are interested in "Joining the Ranks."

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police, a nationally accredited force, is the seventh-largest law-enforcement agency in the State, with more than 600 sworn and civilian law-enforcement professionals. MDTA Police officers provide law enforcement at the MDTA's highways, bridges and tunnels, BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport and the Port of Baltimore.
