INVESTIGATING SHOOTING ALONG I-95 IN BALTIMORE
Witnesses Asked to Call 410-409-2523
BALTIMORE, MD (March 30, 2023) – Maryland Transportation Authority Police officers are investigating a shooting that occurred late Wednesday afternoon along southbound I-95 in Baltimore City.
According to the preliminary investigation, an occupant of a silver Honda Civic allegedly fired a weapon at a tan Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on the ramp from southbound I-95 to Caton Avenue (Exit 50) at approximately 3:30 p.m. No occupants of the Chevrolet Silverado were injured. Investigators believe the silver Honda Civic continued onto northbound Caton Avenue after the shooting.
This is an open and ongoing investigation. The Maryland Transportation Authority Police Criminal Investigations Unit continues to collect and review evidence.
