BALTIMORE, MD - The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is hosting two informational public meetings regarding the I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETL) Northbound Extension. The meetings will be held:
Monday, Feb. 26, 4 - 7 p.m.

Part of Governor Larry Hogan's Traffic Relief Plan announced in December 2017, the project extends the northbound ETL and provides safety and capacity improvements from MD 43 (Whitemarsh Boulevard) and MD 24 (Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway). The proposed improvements will increase the quality of life for numerous communities with the addition of four new noise walls and will replace or rehabilitate five bridges that are more than 50 years old. The extension is expected to be open to traffic in December 2022.
At the public meetings, attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet the project team
- Learn about the proposed safety and capacity improvements, including construction of overpass improvements and associated detours at Bradshaw Road and Old Joppa Road
- Learn about noise wall locations
- Share ideas and ask questions
