I-95 AT BELVIDERE ROAD TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT STUDY INFORMATIONAL PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE JAN. 17
BALTIMORE, MD – The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is studying the roadway network in the vicinity of Belvidere Road to accommodate future traffic capacity and safety needs at the I-95/MD 222 interchange, US 40, MD 222 and MD 272 due to planned development in the area. Alternatives ranging from a No-Build or No-Action Alternative to a Transportation System Management (TSM) Alternative and eight different interchange options will be presented.
No formal presentations will be made. Public comments are encouraged to inform the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) study and obtain feedback on the potential transportation solutions.
