This month, Lieutenant Governor Aruna Miller shares a message reinforcing the Moore-Miller Administration’s commitment to safety and the importance of maintaining a strong safety culture across Maryland.
As summer approaches, MDOT’s Serious About Safety campaign is highlighting two important reminders. The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration’s new anti-litter campaign — “Respect Maryland Roads. Don’t Litter.”— encourages everyone to help keep Maryland’s roads clean and safe for motorists and roadway workers. MDOT is also emphasizing heat illness prevention by encouraging employees who work outdoors to stay hydrated, take breaks, seek shade, and recognize the signs of heat-related illness.
