**UPDATED SCHEDULED**
WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF INNER LOOP I-695 RAMPS IN NORTHEAST BALTIMORE
WHAT: The ramps from northbound I-95 and southbound I-95 to I-695 East (Inner Loop) will be closed overnight. The detour will direct motorists to I-695 West (Outer Loop), to southbound US 1 (Exit 32A), to I-695 East (Inner Loop).
WHEN: Weather permitting, Tuesday, July 12, through Thursday, July 14, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning and Sunday, July 17, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
Note: Due to other variables, work has been scheduled for Sunday, July 17.
WHY: Crews will be milling the roadway as part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) I-95 Improvement Project with Express Toll Lanes (ETL). The current work at the I-95/I-695 interchange will reconstruct and realign I-695 from US 1 to MD 7 (Philadelphia Road). The project is anticipated to be complete in fall 2016.
