SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY NEAR CATON AVENUE IN BALTIMORE

Witnesses Asked to Call 443-915-7729

BALTIMORE, Md. (January 26, 2024) – Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Officers are seeking information related to suspicious activity possibly connected to a robbery.

Investigators believe a male subject stopped a grey SUV on the shoulder of the ramp from northbound I-95 to Caton Avenue (Exit 50A) on Thursday, January 25, prior to 1:45 p.m. It is believed the subject was wearing a blue and beige blazer and beige pants. Investigators believe the subject attempted to flag down passing vehicles and may have later committed a robbery at a different location.

This is a developing investigation. Anyone who witnessed the grey SUV stopped along northbound I-95 at Caton Avenue or the described subject is asked to call the MDTA Police at 443-915-7729.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police, a nationally accredited force, is the eighth-largest law enforcement agency in the State with more than 500 sworn and civilian law enforcement professionals. MDTA Police Officers provide law enforcement services at the MDTA’s highways, bridges, and tunnels, at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, and at the Port of Baltimore.
