MDTA POLICE ARREST MAN FOR DUI; DISCOVER LARGE AMOUNT OF DRUGS

IN VEHICLE

BALTIMORE, MD – On Friday, Oct. 19, the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police found more than one-half of a pound of marijuana after arresting a man who was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.

An MDTA Police officer stopped Mark Robinson, a 39-year-old male from Pasadena, MD for driving erratically on Hawkins Point Road near Chemical Road in Baltimore City. Robinson was operating a 2012 Ford F-150. During a subsequent vehicle search, officers located 274 grams of marijuana. Officers believe Robinson intended to sell the drugs.

Robinson was charged with speeding, DUI, negligent driving, possession of marijuana and possessing a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.

After processing, officers transported Robinson to the Baltimore City Central Booking and Intake Facility. After seeing a court commissioner, he was released with a court date for December 3, 2018.
