WHAT: Westbound McComas Street at the southbound I-95 entrance ramp will be closed temporarily to traffic. No access to Hanover Street.
The detour route to Hanover Street will direct motorists to southbound I-95, to Caton Avenue (Exit 50), to northbound I-95, to Hanover Street (Exit 54). A secondary detour route may be available dependent on work conditions that will direct motorists to a u-turn onto westbound McComas Street, to Cromwell Street, to Hanover Street..
WHEN: Weather permitting, closures will occur Mondays through Saturdays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning, starting Tuesday, Oct. 6, through Tuesday, Oct. 27.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
