WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURES OF RAMP FROM SOUTHBOUND I-95 TO MD 295 IN BALTIMORE CITY DURING OCTOBER

WHAT: The ramp from southbound I-95 to MD 295 (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to I-695 (Exit 49A), to southbound MD 295 (Exit 7A) .

WHEN: Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-95 to Exit 52 will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 21, and Thursday, Oct. 22, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. In the event of inclement weather or other variables, work also may be performed Friday, Oct. 23.

WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The ramp closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
