WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY OVERNIGHT CLOSURE OF RAMP FROM NORTHBOUND I-95 TO RUSSELL STREET THIS WEDNESDAY
WHAT: The ramp from northbound I-95 to Russell Street (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to I-395 (Exit 53), to Lee Street, to Russell Street.
WHEN: Weather permitting, the ramp from northbound I-95 to Russell Street will close Wednesday, April 22, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. Due to inclement weather, originally scheduled for April 16 has been rescheduled for this date.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: Ramp closure is part of the Maryland Transportation Authoritys (MDTA) two-year, $64 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
