**UPDATED SCHEDULE**

NEW SPLIT TRAFFIC PATTERN ON SOUTHBOUND I-95 IN BALTIMORE

#i95bmore

WHAT:    Southbound I-95 traffic lanes will split with one lane to the left and three lanes to the right between I-395 and Exit 50 (Caton Avenue).  During this phase, there is no merge lane on southbound I-95 for the Washington Boulevard on-ramp and for the Caton Avenue exit (Exit 50).  Traffic entering southbound I-95 from Washington Boulevard must YIELD.

                                 1LFT

WHEN:    Weather permitting, the southbound I-95 split will be in effect by Sunday, May 10, for approximately three weeks.   Split originally scheduled for May 8 has been rescheduled for this date.

WHY:       Toll Dollars At Work: The split traffic patterns and shifts are part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $64 million  project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and ramps in Baltimore City.
